Did your plans ever go wrong?
Did your plans ever go wrong?
If you are an entrepreneur there’s a pretty good chance that you are devoting most of your awake hours to your business. The time you take away from work to spend with family, and friends or catching some vital entertainment could feel like time stolen.
It’s worse if you have plans (who doesn’t?) and you feel you are not doing enough to realize them.
You’re not alone. Every entrepreneur feels that way no matter at what level they are. As fate would have it, all of my family members are entrepreneurs and so are all of my friends.
This is a common thread that I see in every single person.
A quiet but consuming feeling of irritation with themselves that they are not doing enough.
Listen, you can always do better and you know that perfectly well. You know it when you spend too much time on Social Media when you postpone that important task or find a reason to not do it at all.
All of us know exactly what we could do better and if we still can’t fix it, then it’s time to learn to live with it.
If after pushing yourself the best you can, you find that what you do is all you can do, then it’s time to recognize that as a limit. This is the extent of your productivity and the needle isn’t moving in a hurry.
Just make it a point to acknowledge that you’ve reached that limit, and now you are going to enjoy your time guilt-free doing whatever you want.
Try it and you’ll find that this one little change will make you more productive.
People work best when they feel like working from within. Sure, pressure can give you a short-burst of adrenaline and help you deliver inhuman performance now and then but that’s not a consistent plan.
You can’t count on it.
You call on your reserves when you need them, not every day.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not asking you to accept your current performance levels as an unchanging condition. They can be even better but coming from a place of good vibes, not pressure.
If you don’t tire out your mind completely, and you work because you feel like working, you will enjoy it more. When you come back to it, you will come back eagerly.
Extend yourself every day as long as you can make that good feeling last. Treat your mood and focus like a muscle. Work on it every day. Just a bit more every day.
This works. I’ve tried it personally.
What about you? What’s your system or hack that keeps you productive? Want to tell me about it?
Talking about hacks. What I built in my Webinar software feels like one.
Webinarloop - Autowebinar with sales-boosting features
Autowebinars are awesome. You can create them once and then have them run over and over to your audience. Working for you even when you take that break.
What you do in an autowebinar is use your webinar recording as a webinar playback. Webinarloop can make it seem just like the webinar is live.
It’s uncanny.
But that’s not all. Webinarloop has many amazing features never seen in other webinar software
> Sidebar ads in webinars (show your graphics
> Call to action buttons (Have them buy from within the webinar)
> Quizzes
> Info pops
> Question boxes
These are things that make your webinar awesome and Webinarloop has them all.
You’ve got to see the demo
