Google’s Gemini AI is taking the AI world on a new path
Google released their new AI model, called Gemini, yesterday and it’s an incredible breakthrough. You will see Google understating the significance of what they have done, but they just changed the world.
Here’s the first thing.
The AI is truly multimodal
So far, AIs like ChatGPT, Dall-E, and even others can only perceive the world in one way. Either through words or through images and some through sounds. Gemini does everything.
This AI understands and generates text, audio, video, and images.
It has the most comprehensive view of human reality than any other AI model before it. In other words, it can perceive the world nearly as good as we do.
This will make it suitable to be a near general purpose AI (if it’s not already). With an AI of this adaptability, it can do everything we would want it to do.

It’s also portable!
This is bigger than what I just talked about. Gemini is portable. It comes in three versions
Gemini Ultra - This is the best implementation that requires mega-computing power. This would be available as a service.
Gemin Pro - This is the general-purpose AI, available to everyone through a web interface. It now powers Google Bard.
Gemini Nano - This is the Portable version of the AI which can run on the phone!
This is a breakthrough moment. AI is now what phones were 15 years ago. It's a clunky, bad user interface but ubiquitous. Everywhere.
Gemini Nano can run off a smartphone. Your smartphone just got ‘smart’.
This is going to be worth watching!
This is … Sigh… only the beginning
Haven’t I said this enough about the AI world already? Every time I tell you it’s the beginning, they just go and raise the level again. A truly multi-modal AI that’s also portable.
It may be a bit dumb now and hallucinate a lot, but soon it will become accurate, and precise, and have a very good understanding of the world.
I don’t think I can really give you a picture of the things it will influence, but there would be very little chance that it wouldn’t.
So Google just got a significant lead in AIs, but I hear others are at it too. * OpenAI’s new secret AI model is allegedly multi-modal too.
Prepare to be surprised yet again.
Meanwhile…
I invited Steve Tari of Courseller on my Podcast and he dropped some solid value gems!

It’s the second video from the top!
He will tell you how he got inspired to build his course app (it’s a funny story) and how he runs his successful online business.
Let me know what you think!
Cheers!
