Google’s new Gemini AI — Did they fake us?

Just days ago I wrote to you about Google’s new Gemini AI and that it was the first truly multi-modal AI that is so near human perception.

Well, now there is credible information that Google could have been lying to us.

Yes, it seems they made up a video demo that was not a perfect representation of what the model can achieve. It does much less.

I guess Google is getting desperate to get ahead of OpenAI-Microsoft combined. So desperate that they are prepared to lie.

Well, OpenAI’s Q is coming and it seems they will eat Google’s lunch yet again.

Me? I am spending more time on ChatGPT and CoPilot these days than on Google. That should say something!

Meta has joined the generative AI fray with a BIG splash! Their new domain is imagine.meta.com and there you can create fantastic AI art.

The best thing about it is it’s near-real-like photo generation. You can hardly tell it from the real thing.
