In a recent technology conference that Meta organized they announced a big focus on AI incorporating it in all their tools in as many ways as possible.

Bots that behave like people
These bots will be available on Messenger and Whatsapp and they will have a real personality. They will behave and talk like distinct people and you can actually talk to them… Voice to voice.
What’s even more interesting is that Meta is getting celebrities to provide the voice. So you’re going to be talking to someone who talks like Snoop Dogg, and no doubt has the personality of Snoop.

I don’t know about you, but I hate talking to chatbots online and my mission when I do talk to one is to get connected to a real human being as early as possible.

A lot of the things that we’ve been using real people for will be done just fine with bots once you combine a) personality with b) real-time data with c) decision-making APIs.
For instance, if someone wants to generate a new license key. A bot will be able to actually do that.
I think ChatGPT is the simplest and the most basic implementation of generative AI technology. The best products based on this are yet to come. We are just seeing now the tools emerge that will be used to build them.
