OpenAI just launched Sora – It is the best Video AI yet
There was a big announcement from OpenAI today. It’s their new video generation AI model called SORA.
Till now OpenAI had stayed away from video generation. They have been ruling text and graphics AI but companies like Runway and even Google seemed to have a lead on video. Well, that changed today.
What OpenAI has shown is miles ahead of anything in the market, even Google’s Lumiere model.
I am talking, HD quality, highly detailed, absolutely realistic video. It’s Hollywood level stuff! You’d have to look very-very close to detect that it’s AI made.

This street shot looks absolutely real. No doubt about it! The details are stunning, right to the people in the background. I watched the entire video and there was no blurring, no smudginess. It was absolutely crisp & clear.

Look at the details on the face. That looks like a real person!
SORA is not released till now but I think it’ll be there in about 3-4 months from now and that means you will be able to create videos in a way that nobody has been able to before. Not even the big-budget studios.
