The hardest thing about Entrepreneurship is – All of it
The hardest thing about Entrepreneurship is – All of it
I’ve built 100s of software applications in my decently long career as a developer. I’ve sold 100s of them too and the most important thing I learnt while I was doing all this, is: –
It’s not easy. It takes time, but you’ll get there if you don’t keep at it.
Really simple, but that’s the true experience of an entrepreneur or anyone who wants to get anything done. It’s nearly never easy. Sometimes it’s so hard and requires so much effort from you that it’ll make your fingernails sweat, but once you get it done, it’s always worth it.
I heard Sam Altman say in an interview that he didn’t realize how hard entrepreneurship is before he began. He used to work in a giant corporation and it’s not easy either but it’s not as hard as running your own business.
If you’re reading this you’re someone who’s set out to do hard things. That’s a great thing because once you get really going, it’ll transform you.
Entrepreneurs are like the old Pioneers of the wild American west. Really tough people who are ready to brave real challenges for progress.
So, build up on that. I know you’re going through some tough challenges right now. Everyone is. Everyone. There are really no exceptions.
But you’ll get through it. It’s going to require all the hard-work and innovation you can muster but before that it’ll require some humility.
You’ll need to know where you’re going wrong before you can take the right path. You’ll need to know what’s missing in your work. What needs to improve in your project.
You’ll need to know what you need to fix.
It’s harder than it sounds. It’s really tough and I say it to you with all sincerity, that this has been one of the toughest things I try to do. Find out what’s wrong with my work.
To help me I built all sorts of feedback mechanisms. I read my customers’ emails, their social media feedback. I built a public review system where they can tell me what they experienced.
All chats are recorded and preserved. I am in every tech-support group that my customers are in.
There’s a special Customer Success department that reaches out separately from sales and support to gauge the true experience of the people who pay for my business and my life.
I have that clarity.
The buyers come first, and that’s what is building up the momentum in this business.
Everyone needs a mission to propel them to do better than their mediocre.
What’s your reason? Write to me and tell me.
And, I can’t close this email without telling you about one of my products. They are the link that links us.
SO today, take a look at CourseFunnels. It’s the most powerful Course-Building platform out there, serving 1000s of creators, coaches.
You can build really good trainings and communities using this application. It also has marketing features that you can use to sell them with success.
And now it has AI.
