This is why you should cancel ChatGPT
I canceled my ChatGPT Plus subscription and I think you should do it too. Why pay for something you can get for free?
Yesterday’s big news was that ChatGPT is not connected to Bing and BingChat will be available as a plugin to ChatGPT. Yawn… This is old. BingChat is already available on Bing, and it is connected to ChatGPT as a backend. So why would you pay for something that you get free on another website?
I look for extreme utility for my toolset. If I can’t use it immediately, I won't buy it. I learned that after spending a pile on shiny things (I know you’ve done it too).
That’s a lesson in profitability I learned a long time ago. Protect your earnings from expenditures and let them work for you. Little money put away and compounded can go far over a long time.
You’ve heard of compounding, right?
Just like money, results compound too. Your social media presence, your marketing. They seem to grow just a little at first, but they keep growing in bigger and bigger chunks and ultimately they become so large that not just you but everyone around notices them.
The problem is, in the beginning, the gains might seem so insignificant that you don’t feel like investing your time and money. “What’s the point of getting 3 new subscribers in a day.” That’s the wrong story to tell yourself.
If you keep at it, the 3 will turn to 5 then to 15, and soon to 50. While 98% of people stop, the one who continues to invest and improve goes on to build a profitable and reliable business.
I bet you’ve seen this journey if you’ve built one for yourself. Rising from really insignificant gains to a place where you are comfortable and looking forward to the next level.
As a long-time entrepreneur, I believe that the most amount of investment that you need to make is on yourself- Working on your attitude, your skills, and your leadership is more important than any AI tool you can subscribe to.
I’ve seen the journeys of many entrepreneurs and business builders and the common thread was they were all highly invested in themselves.
