In my opinion, the biggest reason is that they are not listening. Whenever you do something that’s wrong for you, there’s always an inner nudge telling you that you need to do something else.
Like when you get into a deal or you make a decision. It’s not conflict, it’s this little voice telling you, don’t do it.
You can ignore this but the results are not pretty.
You will find yourself in a place where every next step is an effort. You will always be struggling to do what’s needed next, and that is what causes failure.

So when a recession economy hits, that could mean sharply cutting down on expenses. Spending less money and protecting your existing clients vigorously.
