With Imagen 3 Google Too Has A Good Image Creation AI

Highly capable image AIs? AIs that can render images and photos that most people can’t suspect are artificial? Perfectly rendered text and graphics?

Old news.

It’s already been done to an amazing effect by companies like Ideogram and Flux, and now Google has caught up. Its Imagen 3 AI can finally render graphics that look real, and now they do get text right.

On the other hand, OpenAI’s Dalle-3 hasn’t caught up yet. It still makes images look fake.

Isn’t that interesting? These are the companies that have billions of dollars to spend on AI and they find it hard to outcompete small studios that nobody has heard of just before their massive breakthrough.

That says something about AI.

You don’t need big corporations to get it right. You can’t solve this problem with a few $100 million dollars thrown at it. You can’t create a giant server farm and make your AI better.

It’ll take innovation, agility, and a little bit of luck.

The next AI breakthrough can be from anywhere and from a company of any size.
